Description
Zach and Ben were best friends through high school. Zach gets them in trouble and Ben is oblivious to everything as he is smitten by the girl of his dreams. Ben gets up the nerve to pursue her, but she moves, leaving Ben devastated. Now in their mid-20s, Ben and Zach are still friends, but have drifted apart. Ben is overworked and only has time to focuse on is his life-long crush. Zach happily spends his days taking care of the elderly at a nursing home. Zach misses his friend, but is not sure how to get him living again. His chance comes when a dying patient begs him to find her granddaughter, whom she desperately wants to see her before she dies. When Zach sees her photo, he realizes that it is Ben's long, lost crush. She's been missing for seven years after going into the woods to save the environment. Zach talks Ben into taking off time to go on an adventure of a lifetime. The two head out on the river, along with Heather's sophisticated British cousin, Nigel, to see if she is truly alive and living in the trees. Now Zach and Ben need to re-connect to overcome some drunk townsfolk, obsessed hillbillies, a haunted river, an army of squirrels, a mad genius and two goons that are secretly following Nigel. All just to re-start a friendship and to find the one girl who got away.
